US NAVY VETERAN
The family of Mr. Jess Agnew, a US Navy Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
In Loving Memory of Jess Agnew, he was born in 1981, and he passed away in 2026.
Jess Agnew, a proud United States Navy Veteran, passed away in 2026, leaving behind countless memories, friendships, and a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted brother, loyal friend, and a person whose smile and laughter could light up any room. Jess will always remain in the hearts of all of us.
Jess had a passion for building model rockets and airplanes, spending countless hours creating and perfecting detailed replicas that reflected both his patience and creativity. His collections of miniature race cars and planes were a source of pride and joy, and anyone who visited him quickly saw how much he loved the hobby.
An avid firearms enthusiast, Jess had an extensive collection of guns, shotguns, and rifles, and he greatly enjoyed marksmanship and time spent shooting at Denny’s range. Friends often joked that he never seemed to bring the same firearms twice. For Jess, it was never just about the hobby itself—it was about the camaraderie, the conversations, and the time shared with others.
Jess had a rare gift for making friends easily. Many people felt like they had known him for years after only meeting him once. He was fun to be around, especially at gatherings and parties where his sense of humor and easygoing personality naturally drew people in. He always carried himself with kindness and warmth, and his happiness was contagious.
He was also someone who stood up for others, especially those who could not stand up for themselves. Jess believed in helping people whenever he could, and he was constantly volunteering his time, taking on projects, and lending a hand around the Post. His willingness to help without expecting anything in return spoke volumes about the kind of man he was.
Jess Agnew will be remembered for his generosity, his loyalty, his laughter, and the genuine care he showed to others. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
