The family of Mr. Rosalio “Chalio” Gallegos, a US Air Force Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Rosalio “Chalio” Gallegos, 83, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026. Born on October 10, 1942, and the cherished son of Juan and Trinidad Gallegos, he lived a life defined by love, resilience, humor, and devotion to his family.
Mr. Rosalio Gallegos enlisted into the US Air Force in 1964, and was Honorably Discharged in 1968.

He is survived by his beloved spouse, Maria E. Gallegos, and his siblings Frances Mussmann, Arturo Gallegos, and Norma Gallegoz.
He was a devoted father to his children: Rosalio “Chalio” Gallegos Jr. (Sandra), Melissa Rios, Yvonne Talamantez (Reuben), Isaac Gallegos (Erica), Joel Gallegos (Amparo), and Lisa Gallegos. He was also a loving step-father to Robert Garcia (Tes).
