US AIR FORCE VETERAN
The family of Mr. Steve Alan Soto, a US Air Force Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Steve Alan Soto proudly served in the United States Air Force, he was born on February 12, 1962, and went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2026.
He is survived by his parents Janie Gonzalez Terrazas, and Roy Terrazas, along with children, Ashley, Steve, Christopher, and Monica along with his siblings Gilbert Rivera, Melissa Sandoval, Virgie White, and Reyes Terrazas Jr along with extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
Steve is preceded in death by his father Philip Soto and his brother Albert.
Steve was the kind of person who could walk into any room and leave with new friends. During his years at Citi Bank and throughout his life, he built countless friendships simply because of who he was: welcoming, funny, genuine, and always ready to talk to anyone and everyone.
If you knew Steve, you knew his laugh. It was loud, contagious, unforgettable, and usually the center of every gathering, conversation, or story he told. He was truly the life of the party, the person people gravitated toward naturally because he made everyone feel comfortable, included, and cared for.
Steve loved everything about the 80s from the music to the movies. He also loved his workouts, Saturday HEB runs, good margaritas, and spending time with the people he loved most. He was the planner of family events, the one checking in on people, and making sure everyone stayed connected. If someone needed help, advice, support, or simply someone to show up, Steve was there without hesitation.
Above everything, Steve was a devoted father. He was supportive, encouraging, funny, and always full of stories. His children knew they could count on him no matter what. The love he gave so freely to others will continue to live on through the many people whose lives he impacted.
