US ARMY VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR
The family of Mr. Ronald Allen, a US Army Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the NON-LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors, and service of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Ronald Wayne “T’Ne” Allen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Kirby, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on February 12, 1950, in LaFayette, Louisiana, Ron was the son of the late Nola Mae (Breaux) Allen and Loretus LaMarr Allen. He grew up with a strong sense of family, duty, and resilience—qualities that shaped the man he became. Ron lived a life filled with dedication, adventure, and deep love for his family and the outdoors.
Ron married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn (Veazey) Allen, in 1973. Their love story spanned more than five decades, built on mutual respect, laughter, and deep devotion. Together, they raised two sons, Ronald and Hunter, and later welcomed a beloved grandson, Aden.
Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army infantry department during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4), and receiving 2 bronze star medals. After his service, he built a remarkable career as an ironworker and later expanded his talents into the world of special effects, pyrotechnics, audiovisual production, and stagehand work. Whether working behind the scenes or guiding others, Ron’s steady hands and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Ron was a man of many passions. He found peace and excitement in the outdoors—whether it was guiding others as a fishing guide, hunting ducks, tending to his garden, watching the birds, or enjoying a good crawfish boil. He found constant companionship and unconditional love in his loyal dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nola, and Loretus Allen; his brothers Mike and David Allen, and his nephew Bryan Allen.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Evelyn (Veazey) Allen, with whom he shared a life of love and partnership. He also leaves behind two sons, Ronald L. Allen and Hunter Allen (Becky), and one cherished grandson, Aden Allen.
Ron will be remembered not just for his service and his work, but for his kind heart, quiet wisdom, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
