The family of Mr. Robert Esquivel, a US Air Force (Ret.) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Robert Esquivel, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to be with our Lord on November 13, 2025. Born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 2, 1947, Robert was the son of the late Emma G. and Alejandro Esquivel. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 53 years, Diana B. Esquivel, and his younger brother, Alex Esquivel.
Robert is survived by his loving children, Dina Jones (Stephen) and Robert “Bobby” Esquivel Jr. (Sandra), as well as his four treasured grandchildren: Emma (Alex), Elana, Benjamin, and Ava. He is also survived by his siblings Sylvia, Diana, and Gilbert (Trini), along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly.
A proud graduate of Brackenridge High School, Class of 1966. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he honorably served for 20 years, including during the Vietnam War. He retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. Robert later continued his dedication to excellence as a Quality Assurance Manager at Kelly Transient Alert, where he worked for many years.
Outside of work and service, Robert had many passions that filled his life with joy. Robert discovered his lifelong love of woodworking in his high school shop class. He was a very talented woodworker, creating pieces that his family will cherish forever. He also loved collecting Hot Wheels cars and model airplanes, a hobby that reflected both his playful spirit and his pride in aviation. Robert was rarely without music; he loved Tejano and oldies, and his home was always filled with the songs he enjoyed most. Above all, Robert cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and pride.
A dedicated member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church, Robert served faithfully as an usher for many years. His kindness, patience, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his unwavering love for his family, and a life lived with honor, humility, and devotion.

1. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to participate in honoring our veterans.
2. Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.
3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts
EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession.
At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way. Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.
If you choose to fly a Flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
