US ARMY RETIRED VETERAN – DESERT STORM
The family of Mr. Jesus Huantes, a US Army (Ret.) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Jesus Huantes was born on April 21, 1957, in San Antonio and entered eternal rest on January 7, 2026. He was a devoted husband to Tommie Huantes and a loving father to Victorhugo Huantes, Charles Huantes, and Gabriel Huantes.
Jesus served in the US Army, got awards serving over 30 years, served in Desert Storm, was a certified aviation mechanic, diesel mechanic, field medic, and nurse.
Jesus was hard working and dedicated. He spent many years in different professions throughout his life. Despite his many responsibilities, being a mechanic, field medic, truck driver, handyman, caregiver, soldier, which is just a fraction of what he did in his lifetime, he always made time for his family and his passions. In times when asked for guidance his common saying was always “What does the Bible state?” He was kind, loving, compassionate and caring and would help you in a time of need no matter who you were. Another common saying he would use is “Jesus helped everybody.”
Jesus’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed God’s word, joking around to lighten the mood, camping and fishing were also some of the things that he shared with his children, family, and friends, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Tommie Huantes, his sons, Victorhugo (and wife Maria), Charles (and wife Riane), Gabriel (and wife Gabriella), and grandchild Audrey.
Jesus Huantes was loved and will be dearly missed by those who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that Jesus’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, God’s word, the love he shared and the memories we will cherish forever.
