He entered the United States Air Force in October of 1977 and honorably served his country and Retired as a SMSgt after 28 years. He loved his time stationed in Italy and Germany. He earned several commendations, including the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He was a devoted husband and father. Family always came first. He is survived by his loving wife, Kris, and his three sons, Joshua, Matthew, and Jacob; his mother, Lois; brothers, Keith Christmas (Kim) and Michael Christmas; sisters, Michelle Hayes and Phyllis Devonish; his in-laws Rose Brown, John and Emma Brown, Todd and Cindy Brown, Kathleen Brown, including countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The first half of Glen’s life was devoted to his country and the second half to his wife and children. He loved playing softball and bowling, watching baseball, and Star Trek. If it was important to his family, he was there, supporting them from the sidelines. He was content being his family’s groupie. He enjoyed life’s adventure, whether it was attending a wedding in Costa
Rica or watching his wife sing in the Vatican. With his family by his side, Glen was ready for whatever came next. He had a peaceful energy and was a trove of knowledge and advice. He will be remembered for his love of reading, his quiet humor, and his extraordinary taste in beer.
