The family of Mr. George Robert Krueger, a US Army (Ret.) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
George Robert Krueger, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and decorated military veteran, passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 8, 2025, at the age of 93 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 3, 1931, in Garrison, North Dakota, George’s life was a testament to his intelligence, generosity, and loving nature.
George, affectionately known by those close to him, was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Ione Stumvoll Krueger, and their three sons, Tim, Tom, and Todd Krueger. He is a proud grandfather to Kelsey Krueger and a loving memory in the heart of his grandson, Travis Krueger, who preceded him in death.
George’s unwavering support and love for his family were the cornerstones of his life.
An exemplary scholar, George earned a Master’s Degree from Baylor in hospital administration. His commitment to education continued throughout his military career, completing the Army Medical Department Officer Basic Course, Personnel Management Officer Course, and the Army Medical Department Officer Advanced Course. Additionally, he broadened his knowledge through general education at the University of Omaha.
George’s career was marked by distinguished service as a Colonel in the United States Army, within the Medical Service Corps, spanning 33 years. His dedication to his country was recognized through numerous accolades, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan), National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation.
After a fulfilling military career, George found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was passionate about gardening and took great pride in tending to his beloved ranch and animals in Floresville, Texas, for over 34 years. George’s love for his grandchildren was evident in the time he spent with them, creating lasting memories.
An active member of his church, George served as an usher, a role that reflected his commitment to his faith and community. His presence at church events will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
George’s life was one of service, both to his country and his community. His intelligence guided him through a remarkable career, while his generous and loving nature made him a treasured presence in the lives of his family and friends. George Robert Krueger will be remembered as a man of honor, integrity, and unwavering love, whose legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

1. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to participate in honoring our veterans.
2. Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.
3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts
EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession.
At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way. Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.
If you choose to fly a Flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
