Ervin Clark Johnson, born in Terrell, Texas on May 28, 1943, to Horace and Gladys Johnson passed away on March 1, 2026, following a brief illness. Raised in San Antonio, Texas, Clark was a graduate of Edison High School, class of 1961. Immediately after graduation Clark enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving on active duty until 1965 and remaining in the Reserves until 1967. In 2014, he retired as Senior Purchasing Agent for Lockheed Martin in Greenville, South Carolina.

At this time, he moved back to San Antonio to be closer to his parents and his son from his first marriage. He joined the VFW, Post #8315 in Schertz, where he became a very active and valuable member of Troop 805, Live Oak, Texas, serving as Treasurer and Assistant Scout Master.

Clark is preceded in death by his second wife, Susan Johnson, parents, Horace and Gladys Johnson, his sister Jean Gale Bowker (Paul), and his brother, Clifford A. Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Paul Johnson, many cousins, his nephew, Douglas Bowker (Kristen), his niece Denise Zucco (Jim), as well as his great-niece, Alexis Zucco, and great-nephews, Andrew Zucco and Colin Bowker, and his first wife, and dear friend Margaret Bowker Johnson.
