US ARMY VETERAN
The family of Mrs. Elsa Jordan, a US Army Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Elsa was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a proud graduate of the G.W. Brackenridge High School Class of 1998. Following her high school years, she joined the U.S. Army, where she served her country with honor and distinction. Elsa later graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
She began her teaching career as a volunteer, substitute, super substitute, then finally becoming a certified teacher. Dedicating her career to teaching fourth grade, she perfected her craft and was awarded the prestigious First Year Teacher of the Year award. She fostered and inspired generations of young minds, always considering her students as her own children.
Elsa was actively involved in various after-school programs and volunteered as a team manager for Forester Elementary’s Destination Imagination team for many years. Above all, she was a devoted mother, particularly proud of her children: Aiden, Logan, and Chloe.
Elsa is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Dustin; her daughter, Chloe; her sons, Aiden, and Logan; her siblings; her mother; her tia’s; and many cherished family and friends. Her presence and smile would always light up the room, she will be greatly missed.
