US MARINE CORPS. RETIRED VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR
The family of Mr. Carlos Fejeran, a US Marine Corps. (Ret) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Carlos Pangelinan Fejeran, affectionately known to all as “Carl,” passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, in Devine, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on March 7, 1952, in Hagåtña, Guam, Carl lived a life rooted deeply in three unconditional loves: his island, the Marine Corps, and above all, his family.
Carl proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 22.7 years, retiring at the distinguished rank of Master Sergeant. A true proud son of Guam, he carried the warmth and spirit of the island wherever life and his military service took him.
To know Carl was to know a man who was truly one of a kind. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. While he could be hot-headed and quick to anger at times, he was always just as quick to temper it and remember the deep love in his heart. Generous, lighthearted, and playful, he loved a good joke or prank and never took himself too seriously. Though he might not have been the best singer or dancer, his lack of skill never stopped him from filling the room with song, taking to the dance floor, and bringing joy to everyone around him. In his quieter moments, Carl found peace outdoors, taking meticulous care of his yard and tending to his plants.
Carl was, without question, the pulsating heart and unwavering center of his family. His beloved wife, Arlina, was his whole world…a true devotion that served as the anchor for everything he built. To his children, he was the absolute cornerstone, prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else. But to watch him as a grandfather was to witness love in its purest, most beautiful form; he loved his grandchildren so fiercely, so completely, that it left an undeniable mark on everyone in the room. Though he was a man completely wrapped in the warmth of those around him, Carl never stopped pouring his love back out, giving it abundantly, endlessly, and without reserve to the family that meant everything to him. He never missed a family gathering or event, always making sure his presence was felt and his loved ones were deeply cared for.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlina Fejeran; his children, Malcolm Fejeran, Robin Quinata Fejeran, Karl Fejeran, Taija Fejeran, Renee Fejeran, Alberto Lopez, Erika Lopez, Flor Camara, Miguel Quintero and Velia Quintero; his siblings, Tomas P. and Brigitte Fejeran, Florenzo P. and Norma Fejeran, and Joaquin P. and Sheri Fejeran; and his grandchildren, Alberto Lopez, Alejandro Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Alicia Lopez, Esmeralda Camara, Tatiana Camara, Clara Camara, Yanelly Camara, Bexleigh Fejeran, Kaila Quintero, Zianne Fejeran, Tavian Flores Quinata, Oceana Quinata-Gossett, Skyla Quinata, Christian Fejeran, Brendan Santos, Kirsten Santos, Krysta Fejeran, Ella Fejeran, Tayannah Pangelinan Delfin, Micah Fejeran, Kaia Fejeran, and Kairo Fejeran.
Carl was preceded in death by his sons, Christopher Fejeran, Daniel Lopez, and Jose Antonio Camara; His brothers Jose P. Fejeran Jr. and sisters Maria P. Fejeran, Teresita F. Cruz, Rita F. Lujan, Priscilla F. Seger, Julie F. Flores.
