US MARINE CORPS. RETIRED VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR

The family of Mr. Andrew Hernandez Caylao, a US Marine Corps. (Ret.) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Andrew H. Caylao, age 85, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Andrew was born in San Antonio, Texas to Alejandro and Teresa Caylao on October 31, 1939.

He served faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a proud retired Vietnam Veteran. He retired as a 1st Sgt. After his military career, he earned his Associates Degree in Law Enforcement and worked as an Airport Police and Operations Manager at the San Antonio International Airport. He had a passion for music, movies, and karate. He also enjoyed leading worship and serving at his local church.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro, and Teresa Caylao; his wife, Martha Caylao; his sisters, Tina Caylao and Nena Goode; his brothers Tony Caylao, Johnny Caylao, Pete Martinez, Jesse Martinez, and Richard Martinez; his former wife Evangelina Caylao and their daughter, Lindy Caylao Avila.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Barney, and Laura Ramirez; his brothers, Alex Caylao and Joe Caylao; his children, Teri Salazar, Andrew Caylao Jr, Margaret Cid, Dorothy Caylao-Jones, and Jeannie Terry; and over 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way. Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a Flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
