US ARMY VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR

The family of Mr. Adolph C. Valadez, a US Army Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services and LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Adolph C. Valadez passed away Monday, November 25th, surrounded and comforted by his family and loved ones. He was 77 years old, born in San Antonio, Texas on March 9, 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded in combat. After his service, he worked in Civil Engineering at Kelly Airforce Base.

Adolph met the love of his life in the summer of 1969 and the two married at St. Alphonsus Church on June 17, 1972. They were soon blessed with a daughter and a son, and spent many years creating cherished memories with their children and eventually, their grandchildren.

He liked to spend his free time singing and dancing, making his homemade salsa, fishing, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Astros, and the San Antonio Spurs. His favorite thing to do however, was spending time with his beloved wife Norma, and his loved ones.

Adolph is preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Emelia, and his brothers Roger and Vicente Jr.

He is loved deeply and will be missed very much by his wife Norma Valadez, his daughter Vanessa Valadez Anderson (James) his grandchildren, Jordan Anderson and James Michael Esteban Anderson, his son Adolph Michael Valadez (Veronica) and his grandchild Schuyler Stone Valadez; his brothers Ricardo and Henry, and sisters Mary Alice, Bertha, Emily, Luisa, and Carolina. He will be remembered and cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many friends that he has left behind.
