He liked to spend his free time singing and dancing, making his homemade salsa, fishing, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Astros, and the San Antonio Spurs. His favorite thing to do however, was spending time with his beloved wife Norma, and his loved ones.

He is loved deeply and will be missed very much by his wife Norma Valadez, his daughter Vanessa Valadez Anderson (James) his grandchildren, Jordan Anderson and James Michael Esteban Anderson, his son Adolph Michael Valadez (Veronica) and his grandchild Schuyler Stone Valadez; his brothers Ricardo and Henry, and sisters Mary Alice, Bertha, Emily, Luisa, and Carolina.
