SAN ANTONIO -- A U.S. Army soldier from Cibolo has died in a noncombat-related incident in Jordan, the U.S. Department of Defense said Sunday.

Spc. Isiah L. Booker, age unknown, died Saturday. The release said Booker, who was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve in Jordan.

The Army Times reported Sunday that Booker was killed while operating construction equipment. The incident in under investigation, the release stated.

This latest casualty comes two months after three other service members from the 5th Special Forces Group were killed after they reportedly came under fire when entering a Jordanian military base, the Army Times reported.
