2017 GOTG (Message from Steve Conger)

All,

I want to thank the San Antonio Region for the outstanding job they did hosting the 2017 GOTG. Everything appeared to go off without a hitch. The food was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. We could not have asked for better weather and riding conditions. I think it was the first time in 3 years that I did not get wet. Thanks again for a job well done.

Just received the final financial report from the 2017 GOTG event and we did very well. This is the only fund raiser that the State has. These funds are used to help support any Texas Region as required.
I look forward to the 2018 GOTG which will be hosted by the East Texas Region.

A decision has been made to allow the hosting Region to pick the venue location. This will give use a chance to enjoy new riding opportunities in the host Region. This decision was made based on recommendations from members and comments that the Medina Highpoint Resort was starting to get stale. I am very excited about being able to enjoy the riding that this region has to offer.
