W. B. Kirkpatrick family Thanks

At the behest of a coworker and member of this honor guard, I requested a presence at the interment service for my father, W. B. Kirkpatrick on March 10, 2017.
I am pleased beyond words at the respect and kindness afforded us, the Kirkpatrick children and our family, during the day's events.
Daddy's instructions to us (he'd written them years ago) were for us to keep it simple. He DID want a flag and "a couple of guys to fold it". Our funeral director handled that and the USAF provided the "couple of guys". The SAPGR stood by and their support was almost palpable in the air.
All protocols were perfect. I'm sure daddy would have approved.
My sincerest thanks to the San Antonio Patriot Guard for being part of our farewell.
