[2015] Charles Rogers - Army / WWII Veteran - 30 Oct 2015

Post by sgtmack » 24 Dec 2016, 17:48

Due to the extreme weather and for the safety of Patriot Guard members, this mission is now a STAND DOWN.

The funeral home and family have been notified. They understand and appreciate your efforts, thoughts, and prayers.

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor Charles Rogers for interment services on Friday (Oct 30). Charles is a Army Veteran who served in WWII, and participated in the Battle of the Bulge with Patton’s 3rd Army, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Austin PGR will stand for Charles on Thursday for funeral services, and may have a couple big flag bikes escort Charles on Friday to Ft. Sam on Friday, where a flag line will be formed for interment services with military honors, at 10:30am. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
