The PGR is a highly motivated and well respected veterans honoring organization in the US and especially in the San Antonio Region. Our members and supporters have worked hard to establish and expand on this reputation. This is simply a reminder note to our members in this highly political, controversial, and competitive election year.
The Patriot Guard Riders is NOT a Political Organization or a Motorcycle Club. We are a Patriotic Organization that Honors Veterans and their contributions to the United States of America and her citizens, that happen to enjoy riding motorcycles when we participate, although a motorcycle is not required.
When invited to participate and attend functions that honor and respect our Heroes and their families we will participate when ever possible. We do not have a dress code, per se, we do appreciate that you are clean and neat in appearance, wear a shirt with sleeves, and clothing appropriate for motorcycle riding.
Please do NOT wear or display any political gear/propaganda, or patches and items containing foul language or obscene images at missions. Some items and language is not appropriate for young children to see/read, and could offend members of grieving families.
If your ride vest or other attire items contain such items, please place tape over the item before missions and/or select another piece of clothing to wear for the few hours.
Thank you for your consideration and respect for our Heroes and their families. Thank you all so much for doing "What You Can When You Can", it is your efforts that make our mission easier and all of us proud to be members of the SA PGR.
