"HFOT KEY CEREMONY"

The presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to take part in this joyous event. We have been asked to ride a LEO Supported procession and stand a Flag Line for the veterans and families to participate in a key awarding ceremony being presented by Homes For Our Troops (HFOT). This ceremony will be to award a specially adapted mortgage free home for Sergeant Richard "Tony" Doyle.

On Aug. 9, 2005, Army Sergeant Richard “Tony” Doyle was serving as an Infantryman with the 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry, in Baghdad, Iraq, when he was ejected from his vehicle. The incident resulted in the amputation of his left leg, herniated discs and a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
