The San Antonio Patriot Guard has been invited to participate in procession to the opening ceremonies and Summer Kick-Off Event of Operation Float a Soldier, an Veterans 501 (c)(3).

"Operation Float A Solider (OFAS) is a ministry orchestrated to express gratitude and encouragement to American Soldiers injured in the line of duty. We are a 100 percent volunteer, nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization (TAX ID# 26-0668233) with a mission to honor and empower wounded service members, as well as provide programs and services for their family members.

Our mission is to improve the lives and lift the spirits of wounded soldiers and their families through recreational outings on beautiful Canyon Lake. We hope to nourish the souls of our injured heroes by providing them with a respite from grueling rehab and the psychological struggles caused by their injuries of war.

Through fishing, floating, food and fun, the 100% volunteer team seeks to provide spiritual healing and camaraderie to groups of wounded soldiers."
