[2017] 4th Annual "Basics for the Best", (88-17) 27 May 17

THANKS FOR ALL YOU GUYS DO!!
The SA PGR has been invited to participate in the 4th Annual "Basics for the Best", being hosted by the "CVMA". The intent is for the SA PGR to stand a flag line and receive the CVMA as they arrive at the Veterans Home and to interact with Veterans as well as observe the ceremonies honoring all veterans. For this event we are partnering with the "CVMA", they will have the lead!

DONATIONS - CVMA is accepting all donations of "Basics" such as socks, tshirts, pajama pants, house shoes, toiletry items- can donate on that day.
BBQ - Following the ceremonies all participants are invited to attend.

WEATHER: Hi 92 / Lo 69, 30% chance of rain, 65% Humidity
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to honor our veterans.
Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!
Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the posted/established speed limit for the procession. Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
