PART 1 of 2 PARTS

Part 1 Very Short Notice

HONOR FLIGHT SAN ANTONIO #006

This Part 1 is for your information and you may attend the M & G if you wish, the notice was too short to get a sanctioned PGR Mission together. Part 2 is still tentative and more information will follow.

HONOR FLIGHT SAN ANTONIO #006

Honor Flight Network San Antonio (HFNSA) is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s Veterans for all their sacrifices. HFN transports our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 640 WWII veterans die each day. Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.

As noted by Court B. Van Sickler, Chair: Due to the early nature of their departure on the 19th of May, it is not feasible to have a "Send Off" the morning of departure (0430 arrival to depart 0630). Court additionally noted how much the WWII Veterans enjoyed meeting and visiting with the PGR members in September 2016 at HF #5.
