This mission is confirmed with the Austin PGR. They have another mission around the same time in Pflugerville and may be spread a little thin. If any SAPGR members can attend it would be greatly appreciated.

If interested, please check the SAPGR Facebook page, if there is enough interest there may be an organized ride tot he the Church.

Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. David Delgado. Mr. Delgado served in the US Army and Army National Guard from 1973 to 1979. He left the service with the rank of E5.

Date/Time: Saturday, 28 January 2017. Funeral service scheduled to end at 4:30 pm. See notes below.

Location: The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 3751 Trail Ridge Pass, San Marcos, TX 78666. We will stage at the church.

3:45 pm – 4:15 pm Staging
4:15 pm Briefing
4:20 pm - Flag line

Wx: Hi 59 deg, overcast

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the church. Per the family's request we will stand a flag line for the end of the service and be in place when friends and family exit the church. We will remain in place while mourners either leave or head over to an on-site reception. At that time we will stow our flags, mount up, and all riders will depart as a group, ending the mission.
