This is an FYI only, this is NOT AN OFFICIAL PGR SANCTIONED MISSION. The SA PGR will not assign an RC/FC, and participation is purely voluntary on the individuals part.
The family of Rowan Windham and the Texas National Guard request the attendance of Patriots at the Funeral, Procession, and Interment of Rowan Windham, a very special 8 year old enlistee into the TxNG.
Two years ago, the Texas Army National Guard held an honorary enlistment ceremony for a then, 8 year-old-boy (Rowan Windham) battling a rare disease who's dream was to join the military. On that day they enlisted him as a Private First Class into the Texas Military Forces and they have looked out for their battle buddy since. After some hard fought battles and complications with stem cell treatments/transfers at Seattle Children's Hospital, Rowan lost his fight and ended his watch.

Rowan's family has transferred his body and belongings back home to the San Marcos/New Braunfels area and are planning a funeral and procession from San Antonio to New Braunfels on January 6, 2017.
