The Texas MIAP cordially invites the presence and participation of the Texas Patriot Guard Riders (TXPGR), Texas American Legion Riders (TX ALR), Texas Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (TX CVMA), Military and Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) Motorcycle Associations to the procession and interment ceremonies of three (5-8) unclaimed, family less veterans at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1500 hours.

Individuals and/or groups desiring to ride a motorcycle in honor of our Misplaced/Mishandled Veterans are asked to join us at any of the fuel/rest stops and feel free to fall into the rear of the formation for as long as you want to ride.

MIAP Leadership, chase/recovery cars or trucks, Police Vehicles, and invited press are the only other authorized vehicles in the procession

This one (1) day event will occur in three (3) phases:

**At fuel stop 3 both processions will combine, affix big flags, reorganize, and begin the final 54-mile procession into the DFWNC welcome center where further instructions will be given by the National Cemetery.**

Phase III, Inurnment at DFWNC:

Upon processional arrival at DFWNC, we will be guided into a staging lane.  Four Large Flag Honor Bikes will be selected and designated to escort the Cremains to the assigned Shelter/Pavilion at a designated time by the DFWNC staff.

The remainder of Escort/Riders/Support/LEO in attendance will go forward to the designated Shelter/Pavilion to await the arrival of Cremains.  At this time the NTX PGR will take over group movements within the Cemetery.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to participate in honoring our veterans.

2. Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession.

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
