“SHORT NOTICE”
US ARMY VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR
The family of Mr. Fernando Dimas, a US Army Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Fernando Dimas is now rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and went to his heavenly home on July 19, 2026, at the age of 73. Born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 17, 1953, Fernando was a man of immense love, and unwavering dedication. Throughout his life, he was affectionately known to those who loved him as Bill, Papa, Dimas, Chief, and Colonel.
A proud and selfless decorated Army veteran, Fernando honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. His deep respect for the military was matched only by his absolute devotion to his family. He was a cornerstone of strength and reliability, always determined to do things the right way and on time. One could always count on him to show his support, rarely missing family gatherings, birthdays, or graduations. His caring, loving, and selfless nature left a mark on everyone he met.
An avid outdoorsman, Fernando found great joy and peace in nature, especially while hunting and fishing. He was also a talented mechanical entrepreneur who brought his trademark focus and skill to every task he took on.
Having received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he answered the call, finished the race, and entered the Lord’s gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. The love we all have for him, and the fierce love he had for us, will continue in our hearts forever.
Fernando is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Victor and Petra Dimas; his son, Jason; his brother and sisters, Robert Dimas, Raymond Dimas, Víctor Dimas Jr., Olga Dimas, Amparo López, Irma Valle. His legacy of love lives on through his surviving family: his son, Jonathan Dimas Romero (Micaela); his grandchildren Leandra Alexis, Zyiah Alexandria Niyema Alexia, Aniyah Alexi, Milaiyna Alexa; his siblings, Rubén Dimas, Joe Dimas, Carlos Dimas, Nick Dimas, Raúl Dimas, Rosalinda Reyes; nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to participate in honoring our veterans.
2. Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.
3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts
EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession.
At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way. Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.
If you choose to fly a Flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
