HONOR FLIGHT SAN ANTONIO #017
This is a 2 Part Mission, Part 1 is the Meet and Greet and Part 2 is the reception for the return flight from D.C.  Part 2 will be sent separately.
Part 1 MEET & GREET

Honor Flight San Antonio (HFSA) is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s Veterans for all their sacrifices.  Honor Flight Network transports our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.  According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 640 WWII veterans die each day. Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.

“Anheuser-Busch Honor Flight San Antonio #17, will host 20 Veterans – the 4 Korean War veterans also served during Vietnam, 16 Vietnam and two (2) of the Vietnam veterans served during the Gulf War flying on this trip”.

Again, we would be honored to have the SA PGR, and family members, join others to Welcome our Veterans home from their “Trip of a Lifetime”.

Court additionally noted how much All the Veterans enjoyed meeting and visiting with the PGR members at the M&G for HF #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14, #15 and #16.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated and unless under special circumstances not allowed in processions. You do not have to have a motorcycle to participate in honoring our veterans.

2. Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

3. Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession.

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic.
