17-SEPTEMBER – HONOR FLIGHT SAN ANTONIO #017
This is a 2 Part Mission, Part 1 is the Meet and Greet and Part 2 is the reception for the return flight from D.C.
PART 2, Sunday, September 17, 2023 – WELCOME HOME
Honor Flight Network San Antonio (HFNSA) is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s Veterans for all their sacrifices. HFN transports our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 640 WWII veterans die each day. Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.
“Anheuser-Busch Honor Flight #17 San Antonio, will host 20 Veterans – the 4 Korean War veterans also served during Vietnam, 16 Vietnam and two (2) of the Vietnam veterans served during the Gulf War flying on this trip”.
Again, we would be honored to have the SAPGR, and family members, join others to Welcome our Veterans home from their “Trip of a Lifetime”.
